Join us for our Summer Bloom Vest KAL.
We are thrilled to be hosting our first ever Knit A Long. We think we have chosen an amazing design, the Bloom Vest by Camilla Vad. We first fell in love with this Vest back in April, when Marianne Isager came to visit the Yarn Loft in Colne. Marianne brought with her from Denmark lots of yummy samples of garments knitted up using Isager Yarns. The Bloom Vest won us over.
The Bloom Vest has been created using four strands of heavenly yarns, you will use one strand of Isager Eco Baby DK (alpaca & cotton), and three strands of Isager Mohair. The strands of mohair are alternated to create the gradient effect. The Vest is knitted in one piece from the bottom up on size 6 and 7mm needles. It is a great quick knit with lots of new techniques to learn.
We have teamed up with Emily Foulds and have created beautiful kits for the KAL. The kits come in six different colour ways and contain everything you need to achieve this iconic vest top. A soon to be favourite in your wardrobe.
The Knit A Long starts on the 2nd of July. You will be invited to join a fun filled Zoom Launch Party. There will be lots of tutorials throughout the KAL and access to our Knit A Long Facebook Group. The KAL will run from the 2nd July to the 23rd July. Which Kit will you choose….
